Ancient magicks training

Where is a good place to train using ancient magicks in a multi-combat zone?

 

 

 

I heard the ape atoll dungeon is good, but has anyone tried training there with ancients? And about how much xp per hour is it with what spell?

 

 

 

The newly added chaos temple seems ok, I tried using blood burst there on the level 77 skeleton room. I never had to eat, but only managed about 90k xp/hour while using around 900 casts, which isnt all that much faster than the MTA (mage training arena), which is also a whole lot cheaper (although a lot more boring too :( )

You can try:

 

 

 

Regular Abyss or fairy rings abyss;

 

Pest Control - sometimes a lot of monsters are near each other..

 

Ape toll (never tested by me);

If u use the abyss, remember u only get half the amount of xp compared to normal... ;)

 

I tried bursting at PC, which worked fine for me (Since you also can get mage xp with your pc points.. :)

 

 

 

And im pretty sure ive seen a guide here on the forum, how to burst at the ape atoll dungeon....

Once I decided to use some extra runes on Ice Bursting at Ape Atoll, there was a slight issue with the spawns because of the freeze effect but it was overall still very effective. I've tried many other places and nothing really compares.

 

 

 

Keep in mind that abyss monsters have low hp and give one tenth the normal xp. Also be aware that PC gives half xp to counterbalance the points.
