January 18, 200818 yr Weren't we doing perfectly damn finefor 6 years before the GE appeared and suddenly prices for everything went waaay, waaay down? Plus killed merchanting? Well not quite, There are and were gaps in the market for bulk buys of non-stackables. As I've mentioned before, the greatest promise in Grex isn't big ticket, but large bulk amounts of tricky to get things en-mass like limestone bricks, potatos, raw yak meat, and grapes. My one issue with the Grex, was that price controls didn't allow "runner markets" to spring up. There could be a decent payout to limestone runners, just like swamp tar running.
