I just got it, and when i try and open it, it opens then it says error connecting to server. How do i make it work or connect it? I know this is wrong forum but nobody looks in the tech thing so i thought id post it here.

hmmm pm Cameron, hes firefox savvy!

btw, got it too!

Plenty of people are here at tech and computer, you just need patients.

What kind of internet do you have (Cable, Dsl, Dialup?)

Do you have a router and\or firewall?

If your internet connects through a proxy, make sure that you are using that proxy for firefox as well (tools >> Options >> General >> Connection >> Connection Settings)

For you to say that no one replies in T&C is strange... there are very very few posts that we don't get to, it just sometimes take a few hours since only a few people here actually take time to help others out. IF, in the case that you arn't getting replies in T&C, it is generally your gault for either not reading the stickies, not using common sence, not providing enough information to us (which falls under not reading stickies) or it is something that could have easilly been searched up.

*looks at all the posts he makes in T&C everyday* yup... that about sums it up.

...

Ensure you have the latest release of Firefox (1.0.4, go Help -> About Mozilla Firefox.)

Do you get error messages on every single page? Does IE still connect? If so, try Firefox -> File -> Import and select IE's Internet options and see if it will import your connection settings. If not, copy the info from IE -> Tools -> Interet options -> Connections to Firefox -> Tools -> Options -> General -> Connection.

Or is it only occasionally, if so try entering about:config in your location bar. Go to network.dns.disableIPv6 and toggle it (double click) to true.

Does that fix your problem?

It doesnt work at all. It says your time is up after it wont load. I'll give a pic after school.

I'm suspectign it's something to do with your router or a proxy server.

Is there any info at all in Control Panel -> Internet options -> connections tab.

Try Firefox -> Tools -> General -> Connection Settings -> Auto detect connection settings for this network.

Syngate Personal Firewall. Ok when i go start > syngate personal firefall. It blinks like its about to load, then it stops. Thats what happens.
