Orpheus
I am buying a Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT card, and I have a question: 1. Will it be able to connect to a normal monitor that I have?(17" flatscreen, standard D-SUB port and a DVI-D port.) I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. blade995
Yes you will be able to. The 9600gt has two dvi ports. DVI would be the better choice for picture quality also.
Orpheus
One last question: Does the card come with a cord for either port? I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.
blade995
No it wont. If your monitor did not come with a dvi cable then you will need to buy one. Or if your current display is hooked up by vga (d-sub) then you can just use that because the card comes with a vga to dvi adaptor.
Orpheus
Actually, I'm using a D-SUB right now, thanks for the help. I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.
