Whilst the forums were down I found out something about this creatures, something so simple and obvious it made me feel like a total noob.

 

 

 

If you wear earmuffs it reduces the hits you take!

 

 

 

Apparantly it's in the "hints" dialogue when you get the task but very people seem to know about it. Next time I get a task I will try it out, but apparantly it reduces the hits significantly making them very easy, especially with a cannon.

Ah ha, that makes sense since they use a "sonic"-styled range attack. Good advice.

 

I'll try this out if I don't end up putting them on my slayer "block list".
