Grey Chin Questions

Hey guys, great to have TIF back :P

 

 

 

Anyway. I want 90+ range, and I've heard from several people that the exp from grey chins is not too far from red chins, while being a lot cheaper.

 

 

 

Is this correct?

 

 

 

How much exp should I get per chin at the MM dungeon? I'm using full void, a few range pots, and 1 of the range bonus prayers.

 

 

 

How many chins would it take me to get to 90-93ish? 20k chins? 30k? I'm currently level 82 and while an exact amount is too much to ask, an approximate guess would be much appreciated.

 

 

 

Is there a proper "technique" to getting the most exp out of each chin? I've heard that you're supposed to get the monkeys/skeletons into a 3x3 square and hit the middle one. Do they respawn where you kill them? Or do you have to go back to lure them each time?

 

 

 

Sorry if I'm asking too much but a good range level is a big priority for me at the moment and any other advice is much appreciated.

I didn't use Red Chinchompas but I've heard some figures for Greys at the Ape Atoll tunnels. I believe it should be 180-200 exp/chin depending on your level. They are better gp/exp.

 

A rough estimate based on the exp/chin, you should need around 18k chins.

 

 

 

The best way to get the most exp is to try to hit 9 monkeys at once. They do respawn from where you kill them (where their bones are), but I suggest running away and back so they monkeys unstack a bit because if there are too many monkeys + bones on one space, they won't respawn. Watching some youtube videos may help you perfect training techniques there.
