Tank ranger: what quests can i do

I am making a tank ranger (yes an other account) and i would like to know what quests to do? i cant get pray exp. and not more than 59 str. all other stats can be at 99 tho. if there is a guide plz tell me here :mrgreen:

prayer is a very important skill to have for a range tank.

from what i did on tipit combat calc ill be 100 cb (which the max for med bh) if i get this

 

99 atk

 

59 str

 

99 def

 

99 ranged

 

99 hp

 

99 mage

 

 

 

even w/o the 99 atk and 59 str ill be like 97 cb.. so pray = out of the question

 

i belive that high mage def and ranged is a greater advantage than prayer. but i could be wrong

To be honest thats not gonna really be that good :| I used to be a tank ranger (99 def range mage hp) and to be an "official" tank ranger you're gonna need to be ranged based. This is achieved by having under 149 attack and strength combined. A good combination would be something around 70 attack and strength, and 99 range and defence. Prayer is very important too - you're gonna want at least 52, but 70 is recommended.

 

Back on topic, for a tank ranger you're gonna need to do RFD, at least up to the point where you will have dragon gloves.

 

 

 

And isnt the max for med BH 112?

Julius: the max for med bh in p2p is 112...but in f2p its 100 and TY for the atk/str thing.

I agree, sacrifice a few attack levels for 43 or 44 prayer, you won't be able to melee all the time but with 99 ranged and magic it won't matter.

You need prayer. In f2p, get 44. It's worth it.

But guys..the thing is. if im 99 range/hp/mage and def ill be 97 cb...so shoud i stop at 80 def and get 100 cb with prayer?ç

 

 

 

EDIT: after trying a few combinations on tip.it's combat calc. i found this:

 

70 atk

 

60 str

 

80 def

 

99 ranged/hp/mage

 

52 prayer

 

99 combat.

 

 

 

That would allow me to get a lvl on an "accident" and still be in the limit for med bh
