  1. Jagex have released quite a while ago, unless changed since, that the chance of getting an item is 1 item every 108 brothers killed on average. If you kill all 6 brothers each run, thats an average of 1 item every 18 runs. So his average of every 14 runs is very good. Also to the poster above me, I'm fairly sure (like 95% sure) that brothers can drop armor pieces of the other brothers, and not just their own.
  2. I liiiiiiiike Good achievement, 10/10 for effort, but your reward is only like 6/10 due to RC guild tbh
  3. 16, I'm 17 on September 11th :ohnoes:
  4. [hide=] [/hide] To be honest, the only very efficient setups I have seen are Lizzy9313, whom I quoted, and kds1398. I use a setup almost identical to Lizzy's, just replace the dragon boots for snakeskin, it's the same ranged defence bonus and +3 ranged attack. I also use obby shield, but it has identical ranged defence so meh. Totals are +278 ranged defence, +125 ranged attack, very powerful setup, works well for me with 81 ranged, 70 defence and 77 hitpoints. Take out the archer ring, -4 to ranged attack and defence, but ~1.5m cheaper. Total value of the outfit minus bolts is <2m without archer ring, maybe around 3.5m with, based on grand exchange prices. Remember, this is using snakeskin boots. Very efficient, take another of each barrows item you're wearing only takes 2 inventory spots, doubles your trip length effectively. All I have to say.
  5. Jatizo - Ya, it is so Neitiznot - Nay, it is not
  6. 5/10, seen it before, the fact that your barrows got repaired by somebody else and you had bolts brought to you lose some of the achievement in my eyes.
  7. [hide=] [/hide] I have a few problems with the guide. 1. I really don't recommend using a zamorak book, or armadyl armour to kill avianses, nor do i recommend straight dragonhide armor, unless you have 80+ defence and ranged. The lack of ranged defence given by the armour is not made up for by the ranged attack. You need to find a balance somewhere in the middle which will allow you to maximise your kill count. 2. Also regarding defence bonuses, with that sort of armour equipped, it's doubtful you would be able to kill one aviansie per peach eaten, so you would run out of food VERY quickly, despite having bones to peaches tabs. You may be able to cast it once or twice due to having shark at the beginning, but it will become harder to get the required bones after then. 3. The games necklace is a waste of space in your inventory, one which can be banked at the warriors guild, and making a pit stop in lumbridge between trips does not add much time onto your in-between times. Also, I'd replace the fire staff with fire runes. They only cost 8-10gp each, and the fact that you don't have to switch between bow and staff can save you a fair bit of time, and is far more convenient in the long run. Your inventory setup should also have placeholders for coins and addy bars, otherwise you may find yourself dropping and picking up and item for the first few kills in order to get the drop. 4. I seriously doubt you can get 200 addy bars per hour with only 60 ranged. They drop the bars around 1/4 kills, meaning you are getting 200 kills per hour. I use a similar method, and with 81 ranged, struggle to get 100 kills per hour of the level 69-90 aviansies. 5. The guide needs to be spelling and grammar checked, especially the title, and consistent spelling of adamantite. Other than that, it's a common method listed throughout these forums on numerous guides, and I really don't think another guide is needed. 3/10
  8. I disagree, all of the other posts give valid reason why it COULD be mith dragons. However, although proven by other dungeons being located next to each other, those dungeons appear to be finite, completed. There are no future extensions to the dungeon planned, so they are able to be put together. So why would Jagex locate Mith Dragons next to God Wars Dungeon when they seem to have an extension of the dungeon planned. It just means that further down the line, they will have to edit the game code and relocate their relevant locations on the dungeon plane.
  9. Normally, ranged Right now, hunter, because I got 57 summoning and the +5 Hunter boost is FTW.
  10. Prayer too, 60+ is a MUST HAVE, 70+ to bless graves is also beneficial. The higher your prayer, the more points you get per dose of prayer restore potion.
  11. Not really making the most of your current money, but I suggest runecrafting law runes with balloons after Enlightened Journey, or through the abyss if you haven't completed. If using abyss, buy up to 100 glory amulets, maybe some cheap food i.e. trout/salmon, as well as either some (abyssal parasite pouches and energy/super energy potions) OR maybe 100 spirit terrorbird pouches. Turn at least 50 of these into scrolls for run energy. It's fairly fast cash, you make around 300k+ per hour.
  12. Oops, accidentally posted again, see above post.
  13. I think this is not a bad guide, but you go about some methods the wrong way, in particular, one handed ranged, my main method of choice. ??? I don't uunderstand this, I think you worded it badly. What would you recommend then? A normal antifire shield? And anyway, if you'd read my guide you'd know you are in melee range. :| Toadalmighty is suggesting you can use the void range set within melee range of the dragon while using protect from melee prayer, so as to get 10% more power and accuracy when ranging, while getting attacked by melee attacks. This reduces the ranged and magic attacks, while eliminating damage from melee. Now about the dragonfire shield. I've found in my experience, that when killing the King Black Dragon, Higher defence > Higher ranged attack. It's only -7 to ranged attack, and barely makes a difference when your total is around +170. However, the far greater defence of a dragonfire shield, especially to range (and magic?) can extend a trip by quite a bit. Onto my points about this part of the guide : [hide=]
  14. I can't get my hands on one -.- , I might have to stay up until exchange updates, to get an early offer in.
  15. oh yeah, there we're problems and the forum went down and had a 3 month rollback, then got upgraded to a newer system.
  16. Item lending, blood runecrafting (I think recently), Fist of Guthix (again I think recently), new bank organisation, and godswords have dropped in price quite dramatically. There's tons more, all I can think of now though.
  17. I think thieving is still the same speed as before, just thieve using the text in the chat window. I did it at master farmers before and after the graphics update lol, it's still the same there, I'm ASSUMING it's the same for blackjacking, you may want to look into it.
  18. please tell me about some of them i would really like to know. their exp is godly .... i tested rune crosbow with addy bolts and steel darts crosbow done 54 dmg in 10 seconds darts did 67 in 10 seconds rune cbow with addy bolts = 5.4dmg/s = 21.6exp/s steel dart = 6.7dmg/s = 26.8exp/s Testing in seconds is never a good idea, it's not accurate enough. Go test with/without range pots, rune cbow/mage short/darts/knives, all for an hour on the same monster. Then you can come back and tell us which one is really faster. Also, if you're going for 99, darts are not the way to go. Aviansies to 90 or something then using the profit it buy chins is way faster. I agree with all points above, it also depends what you're training on, for example, yaks or fire giants with low ranged defence would get torn through by knives or darts, and would be as quick/quicker exp than a bow/xbow, but at something like the King Black Dragon, the 90+ ranged attack would absolutely dominate knives, as well as the ability to use enchanted ruby or diamond bolts. I also agree with demonsnake8, bronze or iron are far cheaper and barely noticeably worse when speed training. Take yaks for example, literally 99% of rangers there use bronze knives, because the difference in time/kill is so minimal. And I also agree to tuggernongy, despite the fact that my above point is contradictory in a way. So now that people have stopped posting seconds before me, :wall: I shall post this lol. :D
  19. Ones I can think of that you missed are: Gravedigger (New maybe) farming random - his chest is buried under your farming patch as you are about to harvest it, you get what is in the chest. All I can think of too lol.
  20. OK, answering my own question for anybody else who may ask it: not very many, unless you get swordfish-lucky. I brought 23 monkfish or so, and here are my stats: 79 ranged, 85 defense; and i have achieved a level of 80 kills. Would have quit there, out of food, but got a godsend of 5 swordfish! And so i kept on going till 92 kills when i got two drops of 5 swordfish, mwahaha. If anyone wants to know I'm using Broad-tipped bolts. cheaper than mithril and hit better too. only 76ea or so... Eventually left GWD using tank method without bones 2 peaches with 124 addy bars, 57k cash and a lor of air, water, etc. runes. Oh and 142 Aviansie kills =-) no b2p. If you bring a bunyip or similar summons you'll last a lot longer! :P With those stats, I reckon you could last as long as a bunyip if you took it. Just take an invent of bunyip pouches and summoning pots lmao
  21. My trip went pretty well, 1043 kill count, 900 bars, 660k alchs. I had a couple of problems which limited the trip length though. One problem i found was the degrading of barrows armour. My torags helm and legs were at 25 when i left. Maybe try and find a slightly weaker, but non degradable setup, e.g. d med or neitiznot and d legs/skirt replacing the barrows pieces. With the current setup, I could have probably maxed out the trip at 1400-1500 kill count, but that is not camping indefinitely, and the need to repair barrows and bank is annoying. Another problem, with 70 defence, I was quite often short of bones for casting bones to peaches, despite killing them fairly quickly with 80 ranged. I made do by killing the avianses near the bandos area, and killing goblins (lvl 12-17) for extra bones when I ran out of peaches, maybe add that into the guide. However, if you did suggest an alternative setup without barrows, the defence requirement would need to be 75 if included a DFS, or even 80 with just granite or obsidian. Also, I had the actual bones to peaches spell, and it made no difference to the amount of spaces taken up in my inventory. With tabs, I could've had by the end of the trip: B2P tabs, Nature runes, water runes. With the runes for the spell I had : Nature runes, water runes, earth runes. Overall, I thought it is a very efficient method, and other than the problems I mentioned, I found it nearly perfect. 2 problems = 2 marks lost = 8/10 Thanks Mooch
  22. Going to try this method now, if it fails, ill give you advice on stat changes. By the way, my setup has identical range defence and +2 more range attack
  23. Not sure where, but Jagex released that the drop of a barrows item from any individual brother is 1 in 108. If you kill all 6 brothers every run, the average drop rate is 1 in 18 runs.
