Jesus, surfpin's a pain in the ass!

Featured Replies

My friend recently told me about a way to pay for membership called surfpin. I tried surfpin and called the service, sure enough i got a pin. I entered the pin into the website and it didn't do anything. so? maybe i put in the wrong number, i mean after all i do have two lines at my house right? so i put in my second line's number and lo and behold it dose not do anything. So i began to quickly do things to my numbers (area code, country code ect.) but it still didn't work. I then sent a message to surfpin support complaining about my pin not working. The people at surfpin then sent me the same pin i sent them i entered said pin and lo behold, the damn thing still dosen't work. So, then early this morning i get an email from them. I replied in my e-mail telling them my pin didn't work and i'm not paying the bill until i get a real working pin.

Why would you even trust these people? There are loads of options to pay for membership under the RuneScape main site. To be honest that was a dumb as hell move.

Maybe you misheard the pin. Did you make it repeat 2x to be sure all numbers are correct? In all cases, try to check if surfin has a telephone number you can use to call them, emails are so easy to ignore but a person at the end of a line isn't.

...And it's doubtful it'll ever work.

Face it, it's a scam.

What are you on about? Surfpin is a company jagex goes through for paybyphone payments.

Ah, I didn't know that. I'll take back what I said.
