June 23, 200818 yr If you're wielding a staff in defense xp, and then change to a melee option, it changes you to shared xp. If you're wielding a staff in magic/def xp, and you change to a melee weapon, it changes you to def xp... Minor bug, but quite annoying because when i switch to alch one of my drops, i always have to change the options.

June 24, 200818 yr It's not just with a staff. I've noticed when I'm training def on rune scimmy, then decide to wc/mine and equip the pickaxe, it switches me to controlled when I reequip the scimitar. They do have 4 combat options, it's just that 2 train strength instead of 1 and controlled. Also seems to work with the Skull Sceptre. ~It's Super Effective!
