Here's the scoop. So i'm hunting for 99 to make a good amount of money. Now before everyone scolds me for aiming so high due to the large amount of people that quit, I will not however.

 

 

 

My questions are these: Is BGS worth it without better armor than d legs and a torso? I do GWD a lot, but what are some other common uses where a DFS and whip are not more effective? Is it even worth it anymore or should I save for a SGS, ZGS, or AGS at this point, or even something else like full bandos?

At this point, I wouldn't consider buying any godsword. Its summer, which means more hilts will be coming into the game. I've always prefered a dfs and a whip over a gs.

Godsword is terrible for training, take my advice. When I went for 99 strength I got more xp with whip.

 

 

 

However, the godsword is better when you go monster hunting and GWD, but you can always range/mage those.

 

 

 

In summary:

 

Train with whip

 

Monster hunt with whip/range/veracs.
