June 26, 200818 yr I'm hoping to get to 99 mining. Knowing my work ethic I'll probably call it quits around level 86 but, just in case, I'd like some advice from people as to the best place/way to level. I'm a free player so I assum that the best strategy is to camp the three rocks in Chasm Mine all day; mine 3 and drop 3. But I've never done this before so does anyone have any advice?
June 26, 200818 yr If you can find a world were chasm mine is go for it. But you won't so don't try. All you ned is a spot with 2 iron ore next to each other. Mine one ore, then mine the other and drop one. Mine the next ore and drop the one that was already in your inventory, always keeping one ore in your inventory. Do this so that you can drop the ore the second you mine the ore rather then mining it, then right clicking and droping. With 2 ores it's about 35k xp an hour. Chasm mine, same thing, keep one ore in your inventory and drop it the second you mine a rock. A LOT more crowded so it's hard to keep your world, but posible 40-43k xp an hour.
