I currently make Varrock, Falador, and Lumbridge tabs - need more Construction for others(see sig!).

You could telegrab zammy wines to 55, then alch.

Well you could also try cursing. Pretty cheap yet very boring.

 

Just equip your character until you have a mage bonus of -68 (full rune/any metal, green d'hide vambs, colourful/fighting boots, any amulet except mage or power and an earth staff). Then have water and body runes (2x waters and 1x body per curse) in your inventory, cast the spell on the same monster over and over and you'll get 55 magic.

 

 

 

Lucrative way? Well maybe fire striking lessers at Crandor, its often empty and you can alch the rune meds they drop. You can also fire bolt on the ice giants/warriors and get some items which you can also alch.

If you want to AFK, you can use air strike at the air mage. If you're have low hp you might want to bring some food.

 

THe cost isn't that bad, almost the same as cursing except its less boring but it is slower.

 

 

 

Its about 9-10gp(depends how much you're willing to pay for a mind rune) per 5.5xp.

 

THats about 1.63-1.81 gp/xp.

 

Cursing is about 1.4 gp/xp so its not that far off.
