I'd like to find out more about it, does it autocast? what's it called? How do you get it? Is it tradeable?

It doesn't autocast, it's a melee weapon. You can't trade it. You can make multiples after you complete the quest (or during). It's primary use is killing Vyrewatches, other than that it is only decorative.
