I've been working on unlocking all the music available to my f2p account. Took the non-member music from the Tip.It guide, put it into a spreadsheet so I could sort by location, and away I went.

 

 

 

I've managed to find most of them, even one that was listed as being north of EdgeVille and was actually to the far east of the map, going up the side of Clan Wars. I guess in a vague sense of the word that is north of EdgeVille. ;)

 

 

 

But I absolutely cannot find four of them:

 

Gaol - Wilderness area north of Bandit Camp

 

Legion - Bandit Camp in the wilderness, Barbarian Outpost area

 

Moody - Wilderness, west of lower leveled Chaos altar, South of West Ardougne

 

Undercurrent - Wilderness, area east of Bandit camp

 

 

 

I have literally spent hours criss-crossing the wilderness trying to stumble across these, but I've reached the point where I throw up my hands in despair and admit defeat. #-o

 

 

 

Edit: Going over my list I realize there is a fifth that is driving me nuts trying to find:

 

Cavern - Yanille Agility dungeon, Red spider area in the Wilderness

 

 

 

Any help greatly appreciated.

 

 

 

And on a side note, there a couple tunes incorrectly listed as being members only that my "never been a member" f2p account has unlocked: High Spirits, Jungle Bells, and Knightmare

And while we're at it, why do I have 123 songs marked in green (yes I counted - TWICE) but the total claims I have unlocked 124 songs???

 

 

 

I discovered this when the song count didn't match the totals on the spreadsheet I was keeping. After several comparisons I manually counted the songs in the game and came up with 123 green songs but a total count of 124 unlocked!?!?

Well, heres the Bandit Camp.

 

 

 

Gaol - Wilderness area north of Bandit Camp

 

Well, Just go north of this camp, the red means level 20, dumb paint.

 

 

 

Legion - Bandit Camp in the wilderness, **Barbarian Outpost area

 

Just go into the Bandit Camp, run around if you still don't unlock it.

 

 

 

Moody - Wilderness, west of lower leveled Chaos altar, **South of West Ardougne

Its pretty wide, straight north of varrok, just explore the west inside of the lava and west outside of the lava.

 

 

 

Undercurrent - Wilderness, area east of Bandit camp

 

Run around east of this Camp, go a little south and north if you still don't get it.

 

 

 

For your fifth song, thats not f2p, thats members, yanille is the area east of castle wars.

 

 

 

EDIT: oh yea, and about those 124 songs..i have no clue. I refuse to count my own either, because i have 513ish and that will take me forever. :D

 

 

 

**EDIT #2: The italisized ones are ALTERNATIVES, that means they can also be unlocked here. These are areas in members.

That's a bug. It's been reported by many people.

 

 

 

Why not just right click the song and click "Unlock Hint"?

Cavern is listed in the knowledgebase as being available to non-members and unlocked at "Red spiders in Wilderness", but I've had no luck.

 

 

 

Still your tips will get me that much closer to being complete.

I've just finished criss-crossing every square inch of the Bandit Camp 3 times with no music unlock.

 

 

 

Which was my original point: I'm not having trouble finding the places the music is supposed to be, but rather I'm not getting an unlock in those areas, even after criss-crossing the areas many many many times.

 

 

 

Edit: Druffin is currently standing in the Bandit Camp if anyone wants to arrange a time and show where the heck it really is.

Would you believe everyone I've asked has no interest in unlocking the music, so doesn't know.

 

 

 

Think I'll park this idea for another day. It's getting rather boring traipsing back and forth across the wildy for hours on end.
