Runescape Bandwidth/Download Usage!!

Featured Replies

Runescape is using alot more bandwidth than before now, when playing it was downloading around 3 packets a second now its around 20-30. As i have limited download usage, i dont want to use it all up just playing for a couple of hours. Is there any way to decrease this??

You don't use hardly any bandwidth playing the game so don't worry.

New usage:

25000 bytes a second it uses

I have 10gb a month which is 10,737,418,240 bytes

So 357,913,941 bytes a day

A minute uses 1,500,000 bytes

I make it 4 hours a day gameplay doing nothing else.

Old usage:

2500 bytes a second

One minute is 150,000 bytes

Previously i could do 40 hours a day, since theres only 24 hours in a day i would never exceed usage.

So, yes Runescape uses a hell of alot of bandwidth now.
