July 4, 200817 yr I remembered my graphics card I had in my laptop to only have 128mb total memory. Today I was experiencing some weird problems playing RSHD, so checked dxdiag and found this: I did some lookup and is pretty sure this brand of graphics card is suppose to have around 256mb memory... Earlier today I had an unexpected shutdown (shutting down by power switch accidentally) if this may have anything to do with it. :? Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
July 4, 200817 yr I would say that's normal. On slower to medium range graphics cards like your's, they will say something like 256MB on board (supports up to 1GB) or something like that. This pretty much means that your graphics card has 256mb graphics ram but can borrow from the physical ram if it needs more (which it shouldn't). I noticed that you graphics driver is really old, if you update it the problems may go away. http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catal ... on-vista32
