Waterfiends Task

Featured Replies

Ok, so, I don't have 68 summoning. Will that be a problem?

I know the best set up is roughly :

Mask

Karil's

Trimmed cape/god clok

SS

etc.

But simply, I can't afford the SS. Would using Karils + a zamorak spear be ok? Or Verac's flail?

I've also heard that Guthans is useful in some cases..But this seems kinda risky to me - is it worth taking? And how would I use it? As normal? Or..wear all of it all the time?

Hm, essentially, I'm kind of nowhere as to how to tackle these guys without a bunyip and SS...

Thanks for any help/setup advice.

From what I've heard, a zamorak spear should be just as effective as a sara sword. It actually has a higher crush attack anyway, so even though it won't hit as hard, it should be more accurate. And it must be possible to do without a bunyip, because people were fighting these before summoning 2 came out and made it the uber-healer it is now. Presumably you'll just need shorter trips than the people who do have them.

That's all I can tell you, though...I don't have any experience killing waterfiends, I'm afraid.
