Sell as bars or ores?

Featured Replies

I am currently mining coal and mithril ore. I am wondering if I'm looking for pure profit is it better to smelt the bars myself and then sell, or to sell coal and mithril ores separately? Then, If I'm looking for a combination of profit and experience, is smelting the bars or selling the ores better? Any help would be appreciated.

Making them into bars would give you more profit

Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool

If you want the exp smelt it, there is just like a 100gp difference but bars are worth more than the 4 coal + 1 mith.

So do bars.

Alright thanks for the quick reply. I was thinking, and I have mining level 61. Is there anyway to get quicker money, experience, or both than what I'm doing now?
