To get up range the fastest should I use knifes or magic short/arrows? I'm looking for speed but I'm also not looking to go broke over it.

bronze knives are good enough, if you got money go iron and stuff, but bronze are only 14ea =)

 

got most of my lvls at caged ogres, decent money too
