in a nutshell i bought 5 cd-rws yesterday because i dont want to burn music to a normal cd-r, find a new song, and need a new CD.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but apparently when i burn it onto the cd-rw, it wont play anyways, and it just says 00 on my boombox. nero says cd-rws wont play on many standard cdplayers\anything really, except the newer computers with cd-burning capabilities...which is bull.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

can anyone suggest what i could do to succesfully burn music to a cd-rw and have it play anywhere, like in a car or on my boombox so i can listen to it when i go to sleep? my mp3 player only holds 27 songs (3 years old) :D :D :D

You kinda answered your own question there. Its not "bull" at all. My downstairs sterio wont even play CD-R's

i think it is bull :P CDs should be able to play on any kind of stereo, theres only two kinds of CDs, come on...the only good thing for a cd-rw now is just transporting large files.

Maybe you should read up on how CD-rw's work. They are much more complex than regular CD's and CD-r's
