Would it be a good idea to bring an alternative weapon such as a whip or gs and switch to guthans spear for healing?

 

 

 

Also same thing with swapping guthans helm with slayer helm just for healing.

The problem with that is that fiends hit a lot and you spend a ton of time healing, so you won't be able to use the alternate helm and weapon much at all.
