Hello, I am the to the forums and have been using tip.it forever. Any how, I read the guids for the firecape and I am thinking my stats are good enough. I would just like some input from you guys/gals. Also, what gear should I take? And how/when should I use it? Any tatics I should know about?

I"d definitely say so. 99 def makes it easy as pie. I got mine after I got 99 def...you should be just fine as long as you switch prayers fast enough.
