green dragons help!

hi, i have a few questions about the way of fighting green drags -

 

1. what armour should i take? bear in mind that i will not want to lose to badly (i have 11m cash atm, most i would want to loose would be bout 200k at a time!)

 

2. should i use p pots? i dont know, cos im pretty sure that i can survive a full round without potting, but im not certain.

 

3. if i want to make money the quickest way, should i super str pot before fighting, and also keep the d bones??? i dunno whether to bury the d bones or not, as good prayer xp is quite hard to come by!

 

4. around how many would i need to kill if i wanted to get 20m cash? i would keep both the bones and the green d hides, i would use a super str pot (3) probably every 3 trips, 1 dose a trip, and not use any armour that needs repairing. it would be good if some kind person could help me with this, as i am not the brightest tool in the shed when it comes to mathematics!!!!

The only other option you have for armour is rune, because I am sure you would rather not take dragon or bandos.

 

 

 

There are two methods of killing them, chaos tunnels and prayer, which is good because of no revenants, or clan wars/bounty hunter way, which requires no prayer, just some food.

 

 

 

You should also keep the bones, if you want fast prayer exp, keep them then use them on a guilded alter

 

 

 

as for how long it takes, just divide how much you make each trip by 20mil.

I have spent 3 days straight at green drags before and (with the help of clue scrolls dropped) gained 9m. Which would put you up to 20m. :P So I'd estimate about 4-5 days tops if you no-life. Obviously less if you actually have stuff to do that week and can't spend 8-9 hours a day online lmao

 

 

 

Personally I take Helm of Netz (50k), Rune Plate (40k), Drag Skirt (160k) and a whip (1.5m approx) I used to use a D Scim though when I was raising str, so that works too...

 

 

 

I personally bank all hides+bones. Each invent is worth around 50k if you do, give or take a bit, meaning 20 trips = 1m.

 

 

 

I've never took pots there really, only pots I've ever used there are the ones that I get from the Jekyll/Hyde random.

 

 

 

I could go drags at 75 att/str/def and have very little problems, so you should be fine.

 

 

 

MAKE SURE you take your anti drag shield, I've forgotten mine on one or two occasions.

 

 

 

Glory teleport back to edge when you have a full invent.

Rest of inventory should be:TUNA. They are cheap, and do well. Tele to clan wars, kill dragons, pick up bones and dragonhides, keep both. Don't pick anything else up besides clue scrolls.

... why games necklace + varrock teletab when you can just have a glory instead?

 

 

 

I personally use 6 monkfish per full invent of dhide/bones.

well with your 70 def i would recommend at least half inv of food, lobs or better, if your going as a melee

 

dont use p pots or supers on green drags, there not hard to kill and it would just be a waste of money and the bones and hides you sell will more than make up for the food and whatever you might lose

 

 

 

and always make sure you have you anti fire sheild with you, i've ran out of edge to green drags and realize i forgot my shield and then had to run all the way back
