51 - 60 Runecrafting using ZMI

I want 60 runecrafting as fast as i can.

 

People seem to be going on it alot so though i'd check it out.

 

 

 

@ I calculated i would need around 300 runs to get level 60 from level 51 because i make ~500xp a trip

 

@ I can hold 35 essence each run, so figured i'd need about 11,000 pure essence

 

 

 

Just have a few questions to make sure i'm doing exactly the right thing....

 

 

 

1. What is the best gear to run through the "zamorak dude army"? (as i shall call them)

 

2. And the best prayer to accompany this? (will be recharging outside)

 

3. Should i use kebabs and reg energy potions when needed to heal rune energy and hp?

 

4. How much loss/profit should i expect to make with 11,000 pure ess?

 

 

 

Could someone also point me in the right direction of the RSOF guide which apparently is very good.

My gear for running through is black dragonhide, boots of lightness, spottier cape, pennance gloves, glory amulet (with charges in case I screw up and need a teleport), a saradomin book, and a lava/earth staff. None of this is very important, you can change it up pretty much as you please. The main points are magic defense and lightness.

 

 

 

I would strongly suggest bringing a spirit terrorbird and scrolls instead of using energy potions- abyssal familiars are a pain to use, hardly speed you up at all, are a pain to buy, AND you then waste money and time on energy potions. It is better to use super energies if you aren't using a terrorbird.

 

 

 

The best praying method I found was to use protect from ranged, piety (or chivalry if you don't have piety, or steel skin if you have neither) and rapid heal just when running through the cave, and turning off protect from ranged and piety/whatever when you aren't being attacked. Rapid heal cuts down dramatically on the amount of food you need (I don't need any at all with 99 def).
