July 25, 200817 yr Sooo is it possible? I thought of this equipment: I saw someone taking prayer pots, a few sup restores and a few brews. Good idea? Maybe sup sets? And can I attack Jad with Hally so he cant hit me with melee? My stats (111 Combat): *Might* get 70 prayer. MIGHT :? Edit: ^ Wiz Kyle did that. He meleed Jad, he started with 12 Prayer pots (4), 10 Sup restores (4), 3 Sara brews (4). At Jad he used all but one Prayer Pot (4) and had all Restores and Brews left. I suppose he is pro in fire caves, and I have only little expirience but could I do it? Dutchy
July 25, 200817 yr I've seen it done but you have a good range level, why hally it? July 25, 200817 yr Author It somehow seems more fun : And I now have guthans, not selling it because it's rising again tbh. And I dont have to buy bolts :P Dutchy
July 25, 200817 yr Its going to be too much trouble if you use a hally (with no experience). Many things could go wrong such as when you run up to the 360's you may run within range of their meele attacks which equals a nice 50. Same thing could happen with jad. Also you don't have the advantage of trapping monsters behind each other. To be perfectly honest, I don't think your combat skills are high enough to use it either (should be 90+ all around). Anything over 70 range is overkill already.
July 25, 200817 yr Author Since I dislike ranged or ranged training im going to try this Currently doing test run without pots. Dutchy
July 25, 200817 yr You need range to lure the healers off jad, unless you're very well practised and have downed him a lot. It's possible to run round the edge of him to hit the healers one by one, but then you need to be able to melee pray switch on him which adds further complications. Not only that but hallying the whole caves takes a lot more skill and effort. You'll need to run around a lot more to lure the monsters etc. I'd stick with range.
July 25, 200817 yr Author I did a test run. Got to the first 360 then ran outta prayer (Had 12 prayer left cause of Kih's and no pots). I didnt think of the healers.. I'll take a crystal bow for em. *Goes look at muggis guide for guthans + ranged* Dutchy
July 25, 200817 yr Plus.. The speed of the Halberd? You'll be in the Fight Caves forever.. A Rune C'Bow is slow enough, let alone a halberd.. Try the ranging method, see for yourself how the fight caves really even are (seeing as you have no experience there, no offense). ~Zackdt
July 25, 200817 yr Author I do have expirience, well little. I got to Jad once. Tried a lot but I lagged out at wave 30-40 most of the times. But that was ages ago, I now have a new and better internet connection ^^ Dutchy
