July 28, 200817 yr Just a quick question regarding the Barcrawl mini-quest that activates the Barbarian Agility Course. I noticed on the list, one of the stops in Ardy is for The Heart Stopper brew. Why does this worry me? Apparently, this brew does -17 HP in one sip. What am I, 10hp, going to do about this? Will this kill me, or will it take me down to 1hp? If I die & I run back to grab my stuff, does the bartender know I drank it or does dying disable that?
July 28, 200817 yr try it? also maby use a pheonix neclace/life or something (or sara brew) just ask a friend to bless you to get back XBL gamertag: SeismicTriangle

July 28, 200817 yr Just drink a saradomin brew prior to indulging into this toxic drink? I don't know how much it will boost your hitpoints at 10 hp... hm... or like every one has said, just try it??? Now, I do belive that the barbarian course is not suited for pures because of the amounts of damage it deals, I belive that from 1-45 agility, pure should just do the gnome course... not sure

July 28, 200817 yr see how far up a sara brew will get you may baybie...barb course is realy crap btw
July 28, 200817 yr Author Unless there is someone that has tried this, I guess I'll have to guinea pig it. Barb Course is really my only other option, besides Gnome (unless I'm forgetting something?). While it sucks, I'm left with no other known option. And for those dirty damages Barb deals out, it's nothing a chocolate cake can't handle. EDIT - Sara Brew brings me up to 13 HP. The only solution, I can think of, is hoping that it brings me down to 1 HP or if it kills me, I can get my stuff and the bartender recognizes that I drank the drink.
July 28, 200817 yr Why are you bringing stuff with you? Just bank everything and then it doesn't matter if you die! Join "DG Sweepers" Clan Chat for Dungeoneering Floors | Accepting all tipiters who are Willing to Learn |
July 28, 200817 yr Author Why are you bringing stuff with you? Just bank everything and then it doesn't matter if you die! You don't understand, or maybe I don't. I have this card with me the whole time, right? Well, after consumption, the bartender signs the card. If I die, how can he sign the card. If I die, does he recognize I drank the drink? That's the issue.
July 28, 200817 yr You keep talking about going to "Get your stuff back." If you have less than 3 items, that's a non-issue. I'm not saying you're definitely going to be able to do the crawl, but I am saying that you're worrying more about the dying aspect than you need to. July 28, 200817 yr Author Okay, scratch EVERYTHING that has been said by me up to this point. Let's try to sort through the confusion. I don't care about dying, losing items, whatever you assume I meant. All my concern is about the question IF the bartender looks past my death and signs my card or if going -17 HP and dying disables the bartender's response, making it seem like I wasn't able to complete my tasking for drinking his brew."
July 28, 200817 yr I guess where I'm confused is why the hell you haven't just gone and tried yet, if you're not worried about what happens when you die. Join "DG Sweepers" Clan Chat for Dungeoneering Floors | Accepting all tipiters who are Willing to Learn |

July 28, 200817 yr Author Well, I did the Barcrawl and I'm here to confirm that it only dropped my HP to 8 (-2). I assume the Tip.it guide is wrong and the person that took the initial investigation didn't realize that the drop -HP by percentage, not a base figure. I'm going to email the proper authority to initiate the change. So, in conclusion, skillers aren't doomed to training in Gnome.
