TV (PSP) component cables to PC monitor?

Featured Replies

I recently bought a pair of component cables for my new PSP slim and I wonder if it's possible to "hook" it up to my PC monitor? I've tried googling but I only find something about "PC to TV".

Thanks in advance.

There is but you have to do a rebuild of the system with new ribbon wire setup. I did it along time ago but i currently don't use the PSP much anymore. BTW you sig says you edit PSP firmware? You can't figure this out? Could i also see some of your work with the firmware?(Please don't take Dark Alex's or Noobz and call it yours).

I'm not experienced about physical "modding" if it's what you mean with "ribbon wire setup".

Now let's keep this OnTopic?

Offtopic as it clearly is:

I have a out dated hybrid (3.70 - 3.90, which can use all the .prx and .rco (including pops and other treats, Mainly because the current popsloader didn't support 3.80 pops.) from those firmwares without semi-bricking) I made a while ago, not completely my work, more like a edit (Editor and not maker). Haven't released it either so there is no way you can call me a "ripper". I was working on a 3.90-4.05 hybrid before I left for England (Doubt I'll ever finish it, takes too much time for little reward).

And what is up with this? like 70% of your post was "omfg he ripzor", I don't "Rip". If you still complain about me ripping, I don't release it, I use it for personal use, I don't credit myself for it either.

Then that really isn't a firmware editor. Anyhow back on topic give a me some time to look around and find it again.

Not to be a picky but, That's the older PSP and the video shows you how to install PSP TV which is completely random?. My question was, is it possible to connect my component cables that's made for a TV to my PC?

Oh my bad sorry about that. What type of connector is it?

I don't know if your monitor will support that you can certainly just look at the back and see if it has those ports.
