Randox Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 The scimmy is on the fast side of being halfway between dagger and 2h and the longsord is on the slow side. I would guess that the scimmy make around 7 hits for every 5 by a longsword but to be honest I am just pulling numbers out of thin air. There is definatly a noticble differance though if you see the weapons side by side while attacking. I would also point out that the rune longsword has no more that a 3 point advantage over the scimmy in any area (I think. There pretty close anyway), so whatever speed advantage the scimmy has almost certainly makes it the superior weapon (logicly and from personaly experiance).
