First and only pixel thinger I made.

What OS ?

Go to Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs - Add/Remove Windows Components - Uncheck Internet Explorer and confirm. Then go there again and check it again. It should re-install it then. Hopefully that'lll fix it. Needless to say, have your Windows CD ready and run Windows Update several times after that to make sure you get all the latest updates.

ive tried that and it didnt work. so i went to uninstall it or remove some of the files so it has to be repaired and that didnt for either.

Re-install the Service Pack 2. If you had it, that is. There's a way to get the full thing without going through Windows Update if you need to use it on more than one comp (or to avoid downloading it again when you format). Beware, it's 272 MB:

I AM THE SMARTEST MAN ALIVE!!!!!!!!

ok heres what happened you you all can laugh at me. i play kings of chaos and theres programs to give u soldiers in it. u can only use them once a day UNLESS u use a proxy server.

i configured internet explorer to use a dodgy proxy that either had alloooot of trafic on it or its just $h*t

i reset it to defult and its all better

btw i cant get SP2 as faw as i know because this version of Xp isnt exactly legit

1. In other words, you cheat at Kings Of Chaos, whatever that is.

2. You're not so smart if you forgot you configured IE to use a proxy.

3. You just admitted to running a pirated version of XP. That's real smart too.

4. If you can't get SP2 because your key is blacklisted, then you can't get SP1. And it means your comp is never updated and you're wide open to attacks because security holes that MS has patched are still unpatched on your computer. And you also say that on a public forum. Smart. Yeah k.

I shouldn't tell you this, but for your sake, find a program to change your XP key so it's not blacklisted anymore. Yes it is possible and I will not tell you how. That doesn't belong on this forum. That way, you'll be able to update it.

I feel sorry I helped you. If you cheat at another MMORPG (looked it up while typing this), what do you do in RS ?

ok then

1. i dont cheat kings of chaos. the programs are legit referal link exchangers and compleatly withing the rules

2. i needed a pirate key cause my mum threw out the box with the code on it

3. i have SP1

If you're only allowed to use it once a day, then you're cheating by bypassing that.

Your mum threw the box out... yeah right. Even if that were true, you'd still be able to update because your key wouldn't be blacklisted. You also said it wasn't legit in your previous post, not that your mum threw the box out. Don't lie...
