General store question

Once a player has sold an item to the general store does the store resell it for market value at the grandexchange? I was wondering because I was think if it didnt then player could transfer itesm through the general store. For example a player could sell an rare item like a pumpkin the the store where another player could buy it from the store for much cheaper. Thanks for any help

im not condoning the transfer of items, just pointing out a possible flaw in their system.

in rsc i bought a green h'mask for 18gp in the gen store \ im pretty sure the fixed all that though :lol:

My little brother tried transferring Bandos Tassets from one account to the other like that, didn't work, he lost 10m. xD

 

It'll sell to the general store for 109k but you have to buy it for the G.E. minimum (about 10.5m) so it's not possible to transfer items that way.
