mdogg33
i didnt put sample on it because its not that good so no one is goin to steal it.. The only thing im happy with is the whip. i just cant figure out how to shade or draw the building, or background. you can either give me some CC or you can just copy and paste it into paint, and try it yourself and then post here with the results. im not going to sell it or anything, im just trying to get better. Thanks in advance!

Nadril
Oh man, this is going to take some C&C. Realy not trying to be mean here, but if you can not draw, you will not be able to make a pixel. Drawing is fairly simple. Just use a pencil (draw on paper and scan in) or in paint just use the 1px tool. Now i'm telling you that if you can't draw, you won't be able to pixel! (realy am emphasising this) Shading in the most basic form is choosing a dirrection of light, and then making spots closer to the light "lighter" and stuff further away "darker" In another level, shading is also giving a picture much needed depth. You want to make your character look as alive as possible, and shading helps acheive that. However, if you can't draw, i would suggest practicing. Great practice would be to chose objects in real life and simply look at them, and draw them. I used to do this in class sometimes when i was boored, i would just sketch out the classroom. Its not ment to be a masterpiece at all means, but something to kind of help me practice. Likewise, not everyone starts out being able to draw realy well. When i started around the 3rd grade or so drawing I at first just traced pictures. Finaly i got around to drawing pictures of sonic and such, and around grade 5 and 6 I was drawing fairly nice pictures of link :D I still am at no means up to some people's level at drawing (i'm very lazy and don't draw much at all) but it goes to show you is you can learn how to draw, and its not all just born talent. Well, not much else I can say here. Good luck in the future, and as a tip quoted from Peter, if you don't think a piece doesn't look good, don't post it! A lot of people on the forums will jump at the chance to flame someone because they are better than them. Good luck! ~Nadril
