August 12, 200817 yr well i want a DFS so i decided i was going to mage some steels for a visage. i ran out of money and i decided to to get a book from MTA. i have done the enchanting and the alchemy which got me 400k mage exp. i figured it would take $20M+ to fire wave steels. seeing as this is almost as much as a DFS i was wondering if i should just get 8 books and not fire wave to save money. steels are good for junk for summoning and are also good source of charms so i am really wondering if i should get 8 books,buy DFS-would get me almost 94 mage-short term goal get 4 books,sell and buy bloods/fires,hope for visage-would get me almost 94 again these below are after i get 94 mage get as many books as i can till 99 mage and roll in the money(nr buy some stuff i want) get books,sell books,mage steels for 99 mage and hope for some visages or 1

You won't get extremely bored from getting books over and over again, And you will almost always profit in the books and the steel dragon killing which are both fast and efficient ways too 99 mage. :thumbsup: Returned to Runescape June 2011 after a 3 year break :)

August 12, 200817 yr i would, if i was a member, just get the books and buy the visage. many had tried and few has succeded i would go for the sure thing but if you get bored of getting mage books then just go get some chaos or runes you are planning to use and hunt for it good luck

August 12, 200817 yr from personal experience i wouldnt recommend getting 8 books. i got 2 books from mta and i couldnt take the tele theater any more of it. it is quite possible the boringest place in rs. if u want more profit u should mage irons instead. but if u can take the mta then get the books.
