Bloodredsword
Hey. So basically, I have a password protected WPA router, and I want to make it "not remember the password," because every time I leave the house for a while, I come back to find all these asian rpg's my brother has downloaded. Does anyone know how to do this? Listen to the mighty words of Bloodredsword. Tip it MGC Xbox live leader board!
sloter
You lost me after you leaving the house and coming back. You could make your network not automatically connect when you come in range if that is what you want?
Bloodredsword
Yeah, sorry, that definitely was a little confusing haha. Alright, so when you open the wireless networks page, and it displays all the wireless networks I can connect to; protected or not. When I chose my home network, a box pops up for me to put the network password in, but do to some option that is checked or something, the password has been saved already in the box. I want it NOT to be saved. Hope that's a little more clear :-# Listen to the mighty words of Bloodredsword. Tip it MGC Xbox live leader board! sloter
So you just want your connection just not be remembered?
Bloodredsword
So you just want your connection just not be remembered? I want the password FOR the connection not to be remembered...so my brother can't go online. Listen to the mighty words of Bloodredsword. Tip it MGC Xbox live leader board! das1330
assuming you are on windows XP, when the box pops up that asks for the password (that is already filled in) instead of leaving it, CHANGE the input. AKA just type something random into the box and hit ok. The computer should tell you that was the wrong password, and ask you if you want to configure the connection. Just input gibberish throughout all the stages and the password shouldn't be remembered anymore (or rather an incorrect one will be remembered).
