Makoto_the_Phoenix
Specs. What is your ethernet card, what's the device you're trying to connect to, are you using dial-up, etc... I can help you, but I can't if I don't know what you need help with. Errdoth
Along with what makoto suggested, the output of iwconfig would be helpful. Also check to make sure it's recognizing your port with lspic. It should say "Ethernet controller: ..." or "Network controller: ..." Last.fm Signature Overlays
The Observer
Hmm, if you're using Ethernet, try disconnecting and reconnecting it. You should see a connecting icon going on the userbar with the "Applications, Places, Systems". If it's connected, you should see a little symbol with two computer monitors (one in front of each other), and if you hover your mouse over it, it should say "Wired network connection". If you're not connecting using an ethernet cable, then please disregard that.
