It quotes " Go to a town with a central fountain. Look in the chapel for a locked chest". So i assume its varrock so i go there and i try to open the chest and it goes "property of clocktown monestry"

Hmm, that chest in the Varrock church? Before it said something like 'property of the black something'. You could get the key by killing a certain npc in the bandit camp. Perhaps they changed it, because it was too hard to get the key in the pkers-filled bandit camp.

yes, it used to be that you had to kill someone in the wilderness, anyway, go to the clocktower south of Ardougne, and kill a monk, he'll drop the key...
