I am not personally a member, however I will be very soon. I am wondering which quests to do, and which skills to prepare while waiting for the membership to kick in. My stats are in my sig, and I currently have 1.2 mil or so.(I am currently on Goldflame) I will be looking to get a good weapon, but I really know NOTHING about membership. I'm supposing Abyssal Whips are good?

for a new member buy your basic rune set, nothing toof ancy since you dotn have the world to spend, then do lost city as fast as possible to wield dragon longswords and daggers, after that you can train up a bit, make some money and set some goals for yourself, thats how i staretd members.

He is exactly correct. Get full rune and a dragon longsword. From there, train your attack/strength/defense up to about 70 to be able to use a whip and barrows armor. Use slayer to train, it means that you get a variety of monsters to kill and it's a good way to make money. By the time you reach 70 melee's you would probably be able to afford a whip and torag's armor. Then you would be a well-outfitted mid-level member. :thumbsup:

do Lost City. Get dragon equipment(sorry, but what's the dragon dagger good for? I know it's poisoned, but is it good against monsters or people?)

 

I already have full rune and 1.2 mill. Is there any really essential quests other than Lost City? Also, how good is running laws, nautres and cosmics? Comparatively, how good is doing the gold mine after the Keldagrim quest? And just HOW good is dragon? As good as rune is over mith?
