August 30, 200817 yr There is another way of getting the lyre just kill the village citizens, so you get 'em as drops. My most successful kills are a blonde female (Lensa?) who is in a hut a few doors down to the left just after you enter the gate. After you have 4 or 5 lyres, take them and the same number of raw bass and while wear your Ring of Charos talk to Fossegrimen. "Tell her the _bass_ are just small sharks." Of course, you could actually offer her a raw shark, but to keep several lyre in stock this is cheaper. (I understand you can use raw sea turtle for 3 teleports or raw manta ray for 4 teleports.)
