Repairing Barrows Armour question

When im repairing barrows armour,does coast of reparation depends on:

 

 

 

1.Exact degrade lvl (100,75,50 or 25)

 

 

 

2.OR does it depend on EXACT amount of damage (If i can say it that way) - So i can basicly pay more even if it says "25" than in case where it is more damaged and closer to beeing totally damaged (0 - i think)

 

 

 

I ask this because i dont know is it all the same if i repair my armour sooner or later,im afraid of loosing gold if it is just a little bit damaged instead of repairing it later for the same amount of gold

You can get 2 identical pieces of armour, both at the same level of damage, but have different repair costs for them. Remember to use an armour stand, it saves a ton if you have a decent smithing level.

You save about half at 99 smithing, and a quarter at 50 smithing.
