Dealing With Scabaras Correction

Featured Replies

This is what step 16 currently says:

16. When you enter the high priest's room, you will start a cut scene involving a chat about you converting to their religion. Ask about conversion and begin asking questions - at times he will suddenly 'go mad' and attack you, simply protect against what he is attacking you with until he stops. He may summon Scarab Swarms (Level 98) and can poison you through protection, so kill the swarms and heal up the poison. Occasionally he may disappear for no reason - this may be a glitch. Simply exit the room and enter again to have him return. Eventually, he will 'come to his senses' and vow to not bother anyone anymore.

This is what it should say:

"I'm not here to contemplate. I'm here to slay!"

"Why did you cease your contemplation?"

"Why this sudden change in policy?"

"Sounds like the devourer dragged you into heresy for her own ends."

I cannot confirm that these are the actual chat options, however typically if you are paying attention to what is said you dont need the guide to tell you what to choose specifically and if this was done with every guide for every chat situation it would take up a lot of room and in my personal opinion take away a bit from the experience of doing the quest (even if you did it with a guide).

Perhaps things like this are better left out?

When the quest was released, every one had different chat options and thus there was no way to track what worked.

I don't think we can add these unless someone doing the quest after you can confirm them.

Thanks tho for wanting to help.

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.

I thought of that, that the chat options might be different for everyone. I have had 5 friends try this as I wrote it and it was the same for all five. I am thinking that it would be that way for everyone.
