hashim
Hey all, Just wanted to quickly ask, what would be the best bolts to use against these dragons?? I'm tired of melee'ing them and mage'ing takes ages, so i wanna try a new method :P Would broad Tipped bolts be good? thx. Ryuuka
3 words, dont do it! its slow as hell and very expencive unless you have high ranged(85+ at least and with pots) so its just much faster to melee Played since February 200113th to 30 huntingfiremaking cape achieved 6th August 2008_-_-_-_Quest cape achieved 19th August 2009
hashim
Ohh ok then, if its as slow as you say then i won't bother using it :) thanks! Main Goal --> [hide=]All Stats 70+ And...[/hide]
z0diark
I disagree, I ranged iron dragons at around 75 ranged (using a ranging potion) and I found I was killing them at a decent rate. Back then broad bolts werent out so I used emerald bolts (e) which poison for 6. If I were you I would definitely try ranging them as every one of my iron dragon trips was profitable (remember that since the dragons will not be meleeing you, you need no paryer potions). In response to your original question I would try out broad tipped bolts but also try emerald bolts to compare the two. I would also say that if you are tired of meleeing/maging the dragons then you should definitely give ranging a go as the profits are good and (in my opinion) the kills go quite fast. princesita1
Ranging irons and steels using an antifire pot is great, much cheaper than prayer pots, and if u use mith bolts with emerald tips or broad bolts, u kill quite fast...
