Well, it's probably been near 6 months now since i last played runescape

 

 

 

what the hell happened!!!??

 

merchanting is a no go anymore cuz of the Grand Exchange?

 

cool idea, but merchanting was my fave part

 

 

 

so, my first actual question is

 

do pures still work? or did they fix it (the game seems pretty geared to mains now, doing all skills and such, just wondering if they did something mean to pures as a way of increasing main popularity)

 

 

 

i almost sent an angry email to jagex when i found out that there was no more true PKing, but what can you do lol

 

why did they take that out anyways? did they give a straight answer? kinda lame is you ask me

 

 

 

as well as that, what is the best non-combat skill for making money? i dont mean at lvl 99 what is best, i mean, from lvl 1-60, what skill will make me the most money? from a glance at log prices, i doubt its wc anymore, but that's why i ask, im not sure at all

 

 

 

and the non-combat has to be a f2p skill too, im not partial to any one anymore

 

in fact, the last few months i played i just pked and lvled combat skills

 

not a big noncombat fan, but i can't really avoid having a money making skill with that STUPID 3k wealth transfer limit

I agree. I was slightly outraged that a friend of mine wasn't allowed to give me 36m in rares when I started playing again, but I see now that it's for the best.

As for the GE, it has completely removed item scamming. It's now far easier to make money, and you spend just a fraction of the time to sell items.

so 3k was kind of like coal in my stocking on christmas :lol:

and what f2p, noncombat skill should i level to make my money in this new GE runescape world

 

i was thinking about buying iron and coal and smelting for steel bars, but is that really a good way of making money if i have to buy my own ores with this GE thing?

Well, let's look at this handy GE feature...

 

 

 

Iron ore = 94 - 103 GP

 

Coal = 162 - 179 GP

 

Steel bar = 579 - 640 GP

 

Minimum profit from buying at max and selling at min: 118 GP per bar.

With 7mil coins or more you can buy the rune set parts for min-med and sell the sets a little over med price...

 

 

 

There superheating steel/mith/addy/rune bars in the mining guild, mining ess, picking plax, spinning flax, just plain making nats or airs...

 

 

 

You can do slayer, or as f2p kill roaches, merchanting still works if you use the new ge graphs...
