September 13, 200817 yr There seems to be a problem with my Xbox 360; the video won't show, but I can hear the sound. I'm using a standard T.V., so I'm naturally using the yellow AV cable (which is plugged into the right outlet, because it is in the same outlet as when the Xbox 360 was working). The switch on the back is set to TV, and on the Xbox 360 dashboard it's always been set to standard def. Any ideas? September 13, 200817 yr Try a different video cable. If it works, you know the old one is faulty. 8-) If not, post back to this thread and tell us, please? :-s ~D. V. September 13, 200817 yr Could try the Devnull stated. Also is your TV on the right setting? Is it plugged in tight at all connections? Try disconnecting everything and reconnecting everything.
September 19, 200817 yr if you have the cable with AV and component make sure the thing on it is set to standard Steam | PM me for BBM PIN Nine naked men is a technological achievement. Quote of 2013. PCGamingWiki - Let's fix PC gaming!
September 21, 200817 yr Author Gonna borrow my friend's AV cable, and see how that goes. Hopefully, that's the problem. Then I can simply buy a new one. September 21, 200817 yr It could also be that the posts on your tv/xbox are worn out or broken from someone hitting them and what not.
September 22, 200817 yr It could also be that the posts on your tv/xbox are worn out or broken from someone hitting them and what not. I hope that's not the case... *gulp* ...Then they would be stuck looking at buying a whole new TV just due to one small issue. :( ~D. V. Devnull Yes in most cases unless you can get the right little parts and solder them on right but that would be a pain in the [wagon].
