Don't spent money unless you have a reliable source of income already!

First make sure you get some decent money maker (ranged-aviansees-, melee combat-bosses-, runecrafting -91+-, fishing -sharks-, wc -cursed magics-) before going to spent money on drains like magic, construction summoning etc..

But if you really insist: the only "good" ways to train magic are actually non combat magic: other monsters are much easier to fight and in the speed gain you get you can get more xp by high alching!

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

My income atm is monster drops and stuff like that.

I want to do combat magic because I wanna have a chance of gaining something.

Yeah, again, I wouldn't recomend doing a money-wasting skill unless you have a money skill to back it up. In p2p I would recomend wc or fishing.

Try Ferion, it only takes a few minutes per day; you can play it while mining.
