You will need a minimum of level 70 in most combat related stats apart from prayer, magic and summoning just to get into the lair. For example, you need level 70 in strength just to access the dungeon entrance, 70 HP to go to Zamorak's lair, 70 ranged to enter Armadyl's lair and so on.

So, get level 70+ in all combats and then you can most likely try it out in a larger team (if they will let you).

I do believe Bandos is just 70 Strength and a hammer right? I'd recommend him with a group in big numbers to get the feel of the place.

Yes. I wouldn't even enter unless you are about 100 combat. Then as you get stronger you can go in smaller teams who also have higher levels - that way you will get better loot.
