Your proportions are a little off. You made it so that his arms fall down past his knees, where as in real life, they fall to the thigh area. There are several good tutorials that help you get the proportions of humans correct, go have a look around for them.

Just to add to what people have already said, the way he's holding the sword is awkward; holding it that way he wouldn't really be striking with the sharp edge, rather he'd be beating people with the blunt edge. It's not bad though, a good start.
