morg69
I'm having problems with a potion. I'm trying to make Guthix Balance(3) potion. When I try to add garlic and silver dust to the Stat Restore potion(3) nothing happens. I have level 23 Herblore. I'm puzzled as to what else I need to do. Recipe is Stat Restore potion+garlic+silver dust Any help would be appreciated. Peace :? Morg

morg69
My apologies for the dark print. As far as I can tell.....no it's not a quest potion.

morg69
Thanks.....you're absolutely right. It's a quest potion......now why didn't they say that in the Tip it skill guides for herblore. I must of missed it. Thanks again. Morg :P
Troacctid
You need to have reached a certain point in In Aid of the Myreque to make the potion, but since it can only be used in conjunction with the Rod of Ivandis obtained during said quest, it's not as if there's much reason to use it before the quest anyway. If you did need it for some reason, they're tradable and you can buy and sell them on the Grand Exchange. Or if you just want to train herblore with them, I recommend not adding silver dust and just leaving the potion unfinished. Garlic is a lot cheaper and easier to get. Despite turning a very small profit, it's not actually good experience and it requires terribly massive amounts of clicking (there's no make-x option for Guthix Balance), so probably not the best way to train, but hey.
