Navyvet1 Posted October 2, 2008 Share Posted October 2, 2008 Funny you post this...I just needed to go get more crystal shards myself. You need to essentially do the whole Haunted Mine quest again EXCEPT: Do Not change the points on the mine car track...just put the fungus in the cart...go to the board and start the car off. You will not need to engage in any combat...but you need to get the key again to get into the chamber to get the shards. Suggestion: No armor needed...but weight reducing gear comes in handy; Spotted/Spottier Cape, Boots of Lightness, etc. Only bring a chiesel with you...NO TELE RUNES (make sure your Home Teleport is fully charged and ready to use) When using the chiesel on the crystal, you can only have 1 shard at a time. Drop, and cut a new one...get plenty of extras so you never lose them again. I personally cut and dropped enough to get 28 shards. I dropped the chisel...picked up an extra shard (inventory filled with 28 shards)...then home teled out. I made 28 Salve Ammy(e). They are untradeable, but if I lose it again, I won't have to go back to the Haunted mine for a loooong time! :thumbsup: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
