Multiple questions that need an answer

1: I will mine 65k iron ore for 85 mining (at a later date); should I : sell the ore as it is or smelt it and sell the bars?

 

~6.5M if selling as ores ~14.5M if selling as bars (loss due to rings,dueling and forging/spirit kyatt pouches not included)

 

2: With either the 14M or 22M that I will have, should I save for a BGS(~20M) or get 99 mage(19m)? (7.68m in alchs)

 

3:At 53 thieving should I use PP or switch to blackjacks?

Drop the iron unless you can find a decent way to bank it, dont smith it.

 

Get 99 magic not a bgs, they are the lamest 2h weap available :P

1) You're better off at granite, first off. But I trust you've considered that and really want to mine iron. Very well. Sell the ore. The reasoning is that since iron bars are horrid smithing xp and money, and you would then be an honorary rune miner, the most efficient way to raise smithing would be gold w/ gauntlets. If you didn't want xp would of that plan and just extra money, I assure you that you would make more money mining rune in that time.

 

EDIT: Scratch that, I just remembered Granite can get up to 90k xp an hour (99 with Lava Titan). Much higher than Iron can ever get, I recommend powering Granite then using the saved time to mine rune, which would more than get you 65k iron's worth.

 

2) Levels > Items. People see your levels in the high scores and when you bust your skill cape emote, they only see that you have a heavy chunk of metal if you buy a godsword. And humidify is probably cheaper than alchs, do a bit of research though, I'm not entirely sure.

 

3) You should be blackjacking at level 40, it's that much faster. It's boring I know, I've doubted it too. But just push through it and you'll be fine. Blackjacking is better until 91.
