Level 1 Clue or Level 3 Clue :S

Ok, this is really annoying and worrying me, so can someone please put me out of my misery!

I got a clue scroll for a werewolf man (Level 24) in Canifis earlier today. It was a map Clue, not a co-ordinates, and according to tip.it, it is a level 1 Clue. But everyone I ask now says it is a level 3 clue and if I dig, I will be attacked by some high level Sara wizard.

Is a clue from a level 24 man in Canifis a level 1 or level 3 clue and either way, will I be attacked by some high level wizard?

P.S. It was in his man form, he was not a werewolf when he dropped it (I was using wolfbane)

First, werewolves don't drop clues. Only the human version does, and that's what you have. Second, they drop level 1 clues, NOT level 2 or 3. Third, you only get a Saradomin Wizard (level 108) when you dig on a level 3 clue outside the wilderness. If you dig on a level 3 clue inside the wilderness, you get a level 65 or 74 Zamorak Wizard.

You don't get Saradomin or Zamorak Wizards when you dig on level 1 or level 2 clues, whether they are inside the wilderness or not.

Remember, the SEARCH button is your friend. Use it!

I might add that you only get Saradomin or Zamorak wizards when you dig at coordinates (except the one in duel arena), you never get wizards when you dig at map locations or riddle locations.
